Steps
Prepare your Arc address
Add the Arc network to your wallet (custom network / add chain) and copy the receiving address. Arc addresses are standard 0x format.
Open the official USDC Bridge
Go to bridge.usdc.com, connect your wallet, choose Ethereum as source and Arc as destination. Paste your Arc address.
Approve, then burn
First transaction approves Circle's TokenMessenger contract for your amount. Second transaction burns the USDC. Keep a little ETH for gas.
USDC lands on Arc
Circle mints native USDC on Arc. Arc settles in under a second and uses USDC itself for gas, so your balance is ready to use.
Details that matter
Why two transactions on Ethereum?
The approval grants Circle's contract permission to move exactly your USDC. The burn then executes against it. This is the standard, audited ERC-20 pattern.
Ethereum gas is expensive for small amounts.

What arrives on Arc?
Native USDC issued by Circle, not a wrapped IOU. On Arc, USDC has 18 decimals natively and doubles as the gas token.
